In November 2018 a Chinese delegation from Wuhan visited The Netherlands. Among many other places and projects they visited Semper Green. With a presentation about Hanging Water Tank inventor Bert Dautzenberg and urbanist Elma van Beek gave a warm welcome to the delegation. They explained how Hanging Water Tank can provide sponge buildings. Many sponge buildings contribute significantly to a healthy sponge city. Wuhan is designated as one of the 31 Sponge Cities of China. After the presentation the delegation visited the greenhouse of Semper Green nearby. Here the guests could see how the green roofs and walls are cultured.
